If you want to see something more than beaches in Kefalonia you should add the Drogarati Cave (together with the Melissani lake nearby) to your list. You can drive there (there is a big free car park available) or join any island tour with an...More

Visiting the caves is worthwhile the site is interesting to see. As the caves were quiet it only took about 20 mins to view, i thought there would have been more to see but it is good that the attraction has been preserved and displayed...More

It costs €5 each but worth the visit into the cave. Be aware though, there are a lot of steps! Definitely do not wear sandals as the steps can be slippery. Definitely should be near the top of your list of things to visit whilst...More

It was ok but seen better in the UK in the Peak district. Lots of pieces missing due to being sold or stolen. Home baked food in the cafe on the left hand side of the car park was nice.

Similar to the nearby Melissina lake, this cave is a natural landmark that has been fenced off and sold as a tourist attraction. The entrance fee is small enough to make the giant step into the unknown and thankfully it was worth the money. The...More

We hired a car and stopped here around 10:30 am before the queues! There are quite a few steps down but take your time. We spent around 30 mins altogether exploring on our own and looking at all the colours. Amazing to see and the...More

From memory the entrance says no photos but I was able to take some when inside and everybody was. A tripod may probably be pushing it.
