Wouldnt travel too far to visit this cave, but nice to see when in the area. Melissani lake cave is a 15 minute car ride away, which we think is nicer. Both are very 'touristy' but worth a visit.

Drogarati caves are quite stunning but a long way down on uneven stairs where the hand rail changes from one side to the next. most of the stiars have some sort of carpet on them to make them less slippy, but I would suggest some...More

Another day out would be to this wonderful cAve, it's so special. There are a lot of steps involved in going down, not that it's that deep, but it's best to know, as what goes down, has to come back up! It's all quite open,...More

One beautiful cave that you need to visit. Be careful though on your steps. Also dont touch the stalagmites otherwise you ruin their growth. You can take pictures with no flash just fix your camera. Is to pitty to see stupid people with flash on...More

Walked here mid morning from Sámi. Not too far and not too strenuous. Nice cave but watch out for the coach parties arriving and time your entrance in between them. A good snack bar opposite with free WiFi and use of the pool.

we visited the cave during our Discovery Kefalonia Tour, but had about 20 minutes to see. Be warned you will get Knackered returning back up as the misses and I were. Worth it though as the cave is magical.

Make sure you have antislip shoes and take a torch. You can't always see where the steps start or finish. The lighting they use is poor. Oxygen tank optional.
