Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Glyfada beach is a lovely soft sandy beach in Corfu. There are plenty of sunbeds with parasols available at a cost of €12 per pair. The sand is roasting hot, but there is a good wooden boardwalk leading right to the sand. There is a swim-to diving platfrom which is free to use, and also some of the usual water sports and an in sea inflatable obstace course available at a charge. There are quite a few showers and foot rinse taps available to make the journey home more comfortable. There are also a few tavernas to get a cold soda or beer with fantastic views. There is a steep hill leading to the beach from the car park, so possibly not great for those with mobility issues. The stunning views and clear waters make it well worth a visit.

We went during October which appears to be rainy season! On the few days that we did manage to spend on the beach it was nice, clean and peaceful.

Visited in August on a day trip .
On entering beach area there are sunbeds for hire at a rate of 20 euros -this was unacceptable for me so we walked over to the far right of the beach where there was a lovely sheltered cove area . Lovely swimming area and good snorkelling . Also there was a nice cafe restaurant at the entrance to the beach . Worth a day trip .

A quite crowded beach surrounded by litter and garbage. The smell on the parking space was terrible. A scenic car ride but the road side was full of litter even in the forest 😢 sad to see

Whilst located in a quite village. It is accessible via the local bus service and if you are stopping in Glyfada you are in an area with one of the best beaches in Corfu. We certainly enjoyed stopping at the LTI Louis Grand Hotel.

We visited this beach last week when we were on holiday in Corfu based on the east coast. The resort is a beautiful sandy bay with some interesting rocky areas. Access is by a fairly steep, winding road down the cliff and parking could be tricky on busy days. There is one large hotel, several apartments and 4 or 5 modern café/bars generally with pretty loud music. I did not notice any shops as such and I imagine it would be difficult to get to anywhere else without some form of transport. There were areas of open sand to sit on but a large part of the beach was given over to rows and rows of sun loungers. It was very crowded but we did visit in August. There were lots of activities available both on and off the beach; hotel swimming pool, offshore inflatables etc. There were quite a few beach showers and taps for rinsing off sand. On the whole it looked well suited to families with small children and younger (dare I say that!) people wanting a lively beach. For our taste the beach, beautiful as it was, was too crowded and I missed the older tavernas we had become used to. Interesting to visit and probably better still in quieter months.

Nice sandy beach in the center of the cove, with rock to each end. Amenities include some water sports, umbrellas and sunbeds to rent for small fee. The sea has clean waters and a few fish for snorkelling. Local Taverna's for good food, though not the cheapest in Corfu. There are also two Super Markets (read Minimarkets) for essentials including fresh fruit and drinks whilst on the beach. Two beach bars are also available, one has sunbed service, though you'll obviously pay a bit more for this... all in all, Glyfada is a great beach for the day, or to stay at. (Very very quiet at night though!)

Beach was fine until each Tuesday of the holiday coach loads of young adults would turn up and take over the beach and the sunbeds which they had to pay for so from a peaceful holiday to a flash mob every Tuesday food was fine the hotel bis off the beaten track with not a lot around it but every one is on there own holiday so someone joy might be another's hate. bar on beach very handy in the heat made fab pizza every day

Returned to this hotel for the second time and again was not disappointed . The hotel is still as spotless as ever with all the staff working very hard to keep the standards very high. We travelled this time with friends who had never been before and they were as delighted as we were with the hotel . The food was exceptional as were the the drinks. The waiting staff and all the bar staff worked extremely hard . Athough some people say this hotel is very remote we found it quite easy to get out if we wanted to. We walked to Pelekas and the spectacular Kaisers throne which is well worth a visit. We also managed to walk to the local monastry . There is also a local bus and a car hire service which we used to travel the island and spend a day in Corfu Town. But we spent most of our 11 days there on the beautiful beach. All four of us would definatly return and will be doing so soon.

Very nice Sandy beach lots of sand and the water is very clean.
The one downside is that there aren't many nice restaurants to eat at particularly in the evening and you are staying nearby.
