Fascinating place, we had 4 hours there off a tour and just had so much fun. The floating experience is fantastic as is the natural mud wrap and salt scrub, the best spa we’ve been to! Great talking to others on the beach and having a laugh with the mud. Watch out for the soft spots, there plenty of lost flip flops 😂 To be at the lowest place on earth felt strange and somewhat humbling, not many get the chance.

Glorious weather! Warm water! Excellent facilities! The resort would have been built many years back and now is sadly, way up above the present lake level. The walk down to the actual beach would be a good 10 min walk. I suggest you walk down dressed and change down there at the water side. There are lockers in the resort but that length of walk in bathers is perhaps long. There is a free golf buggy for those who don't want the walk. There are showers down at the water for taking the thick mud off, then there are showers up at the resort for a final clean.

Great food and service. Wonderful views of the Dead Sea and the mountains of Jordan from shaded seating and dining areas. Easy access to changing areas, showers and the beach. Very pleasant and relaxed ambiance. Convenient shuttle service for those that do not wish to walk the short distance down to the beach from the parking and upper shopping area.
