Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is a nice 15 minute walk to these falls and there is rather a lot of steps and uneven surfaces but it is well worth it.

Its an easy driive to the parking lot but then its quite a hike up to the falls.. it might only be 600 meters its mostly climbing rock stars, which can be slippery. Lot of places for a rest on the way up. The falls are really nice.

Beatiful view, hike is not easy for older people and young children, you need to climb 600m, +/- 230 steps to do.

Smolari & Kolesino Falls are located quite close together, about 20min drive between them. We visited both in one afternoon (spare 3 - 4 hours for both activities).
We hiked Smolari Falls first and i highly recommend you starting with this hike as it is more challenging than Kolesino.
People with medical problems may find this hike difficult. We went on a winter's day so it can be quite slippery. I'm not sure if i can recommend bringing young children. Some sections quite high of the trail don't have a fence. It's not very scary but it may be tricky for the very young.
The trail is beautiful otherwise. Feels wild, fresh, humid...
At the end of it, there is a nice bridge for viewing the power and beauty of the waterfall.
Kolesino hike is much easier and not that spectacular as the Smolari.
