A really lovel house with loads of history. Tour guides very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Lovely views over the lake. High tea wasn't being served the day we went but I'm sure it would also be lovely.

First off, a correction is in order - this historic house is in Coldstream, Vernon, B.C. not Scotland. Now that we have that straight, the Mackie House dates back to 1910 and has wonderfully preserved artifacts from that era to admire. High Tea is offered...More
