Hello, you have not provided the full details of the part of Goa where you will be staying & the age of your kids for ability to move around the some rough patches of terrain around there.Dudhsagar Waterfalls is a lovely place & not to be missed on a Goan trip, specially the kids will enjoy it! Your visit can be made enjoyable & comfortable if plan on some of the points mentioned below: 1) To reach Dudhsagar, if you take Madgaon as the reference point,Mollem village is about 40 kms from there.Of course its not necessary to go to Madgaon if you are staying in some other opposite direction.Cab would be preferable for the entire journey. 2) Plan to spend the whole day out & carry enough water & eatables accordingly. So plan to start early so that you get a quick start from Mollem to the waterfalls. In the afternoon it does get hot & there is also a closing time beyond which you are not allowed to enter. You will have to leave your cab at the starting booking counter & buy a ticket for the SUV van along with the life jacket etc.The van takes you through the lovely Mahaveer Sanctuary passing over some rough terrain for a more than an hour till you reach. 3) You will then get down & walk for more than 700 yards or so over rough ground in a jungle with beautiful streams with man made fordings & then lo you behold the lovely gushing waters of white `milk`of the Falls! Enjoy the joys of nature & if you are lucky you might be able to shoot the train passing through just below the Falls !
