This is something of a hidden gem. Impressive alley leading to a stupendous Abbey. Really worthwhile a visit. Big parking, paid. Visit itself is for free. This includes the inner courtyard, church and museum. There is also a nice shops with teas and liquors, honey....More

Beautiful functioning monastery. the facade of the church is breathtaking. Inside is majestic although not much is left of the frescoes and decoration. The chapels are unlit so it is impossible to see much. The small cloister which has frescoes (?) is closed for restoration....More

Very dirty village , extremely rude not friendly people there, avoid avoid, the all village sucks , not services , poor choise of cafes and restaurant, the people was extremely rude, no taxi service , no banks , don't go there

The Certosa is breath taking, as many others described before. The tower and the outside is being renovated at the moment, so you cannot go around the church right now. The main facade is free of scaffolding, so nothing to worry about. Inside the church...More

Very nice place. Also good for an afternoon trip out of milan. The church has also a guide which brings the groups arround every 30 minutes. Its a pitty than only in itlaian languages... Anyhow you can see how the pristers lived some hundered years...More

Worth visiting! Very nice monestery Close to Pavia. Beautiful Church and nice surroundings. We were there in november and it was empty.

Tuesday the museum is closed, open only on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In September the church and tour of the monastery are open: 9.00-11.30 am 2.30- 5.30 pm For information go on internet and check... More
