Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place is on-way while we were going from Gangtok to Darjeeling and falls just as we left the main bazaar road of Kalimpong. The place is very scenic and limited parking and few structures erected for view. Good photo options but this place may get crowded at certain times.

Food items like chips, cold drink, momo, toffees , fruits are on slae but at higher price.

No Toilet facility at this place. Keep in mind.

One visit can be considered.

What a experience! If you want adventure definitely go through that, it is very safe and exciting. We did river rafting in March, we were 6 adults and 2 kids, and enjoyed a lot, that was the most memorable part of my trip. Govt. of Sikkim arranged a booth for river rafting at teesta town, it costs 3500/ per boat, definitely you must carry a extra pair of cloths for rafting and enjooooooooyyyyyyyyyy...................

This river will guide you from New Jalpaiguri to Sikkim. It is a very good river for water rafting. The water rafting organiser will also shoot video and photos for you, with extra charges. The water is generally freezing cold and clean. You can plan your rafting on your way to Gangtok or while returning from there. You will find the rafting organiser right near the Coronation Bridge. So all the best and Happy Journey

Teesta River, White water river Rafting is best we have visited. Plan to do the rafting near Rangpo, which offers one of the best and rough rides. They normally charge 1500/- (as of June' 2014) Per raft if you want one for yourself and your family.

The green - blue river poses with many picturesque scenaries along its course. On the way to Lachung , Lachen, Gantok the river is so breath taking. The water is so clean and so chilly.

The water looks green in Teesta River. The reason is unknown. There are many dams on this river. You can enjoy the view of this river while going from Siliguri to Gangtok.
