Interesting to see, it's a huge walk up hill, but you can't get in. As it's the only thing, apparently, worth seeing, you must do it.

We went on Sunday so the castle was closed. The area was quite. Wonderful views to the countryside and the full width of Mount Etna.

We got here just as it opened. It is unusual in that it is built of lava and it is built on a wonderful site giving fantastic views. On English castle standards I would call it small, more like a fort but it is still...More

Interesting place with an interesting history. Our host Francesco gave us a little tour. From here you have a beautiful view over Paterno and the Etna.
