Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The road going to the parking lot is extremely beat up and the hike is straight up a hill. It’s a very memorable and rewarding trip, however.
Partway up the hill is a small gazebo with a spinning arrow in the ceiling. You spin the arrow and it will land on two numbers. Those numbers represent the two Buddhist sayings relevant to you. There are 150 numbered sayings on various boards posted along the hike to the temple.
The temple itself is a little underwhelming and pretty new. I was told that it was built in 2011. There is small separate building to the left of the temple that is dedicated to a famous person who achieved enlightenment through meditation.
While the temple is fairly ordinary the journey is quite interesting and very memorable.

Spent the day around Terelj NP and visited the temple. The walk was worth the views at the top, some great picture opportunities.

This temple is situated in the Gorkhi-Terelj park.
If you come quite early, before the main bulk of tourists, you will be able to enjoy the calm of this place and spend a good moment discovering the bouddhist religion. Worth to visit.

Well worth a visit. Beautiful temple set high on the mountain side.

Many flowers on the way up there and beautiful view from the top. Very touristy, so you should BE AWARE OF PICKPOCKETS!

This was a beautiful place to visit in Terelj. I was there during winter and it was peaceful and quiet and I enjoyed the short trek up to the temple. The Temple and stairs up to them are steep. Its definitely a must visit if you are in Terelj National Park.
