This is a garden centre for people who are serious about gardening. It's not big nor fancy and they won't have Santa's grotto from October onwards. It's all about plants. The service is professional and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable. Worth a visit and great...More

We went with a horticultural society for a conducted tour of the nursery by one of the owners. Having been round it is easy to see how they have won gold medals at various national shows. The plant sale area had several plants at a...More

Hardy's organise talks by horticultural experts. This was the best so far and it was packed and a complete sell-out. Not only is Jekka the fountain of all knowledge when it comes to herbs, but she is a confident and humorous presenter. Well done Jekka.

The thing about this award winning nursery is the quality of the plants. Huge variety and on a sunny morning it feels like every bee in the world is paying a visit to feed on the flowers.

Hardy's nursery is more of a botanist's nursery so you can find the more unusual range of plants here and a few that are close cultivars of the prettier wild plants. Accessible via local bus and then a walk up the lane. Car parking just...More
