You can trek next to falls until the tip and its really adventurous. But definitely very risky. You will need a very good shoes to climb as the rocks are slippery.

WE went to place with a hope will see a very good fall but unfortunately at present there is no much water in the water falls. Its just a small stream flowing though all surrounding area is green. But after walking a long distance one doe not get a pleasure of enjoyment.

Meenmutty is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Waynad. It is near to Banasurasagar Dam. Entrance time will starts from 9.30 am, small paid parking areas are available near to the Ticket counter (Last half kilometre to the parking area, road is bad). we need to walk nearly 500 meters from the Ticket point. But we will enjoy the walking... More

The waterfalls is situated just 2.5 kms away from the Banasurasagar Dam with ample parking facilities. Waterfalls can be accessed by a walk and then trekking. It comprises of 3 levels of falls. 1st fall is easily accessible by walk and 2nd fall requires little walk/trek. 3rd fall needs complex trekking.
