There is quite a lot to walk to get to the caves. If you are not someone who is used to walking, I would not recommend this. Once you get there, what you see is beautiful.

This place gives opportunity for trekking at mountain till top. Weather is also awesome, although you should avoid going in summer. View at top of the mountain show some hilarious views.

Located about 25 kms from kalpetta in the Ambukutty mountain. One has to trek steep hill covered with trees for about 1-1and1/2 hrs to reach top. It is actually a cliff between two huge rocks. It is not advisable for people has trouble in walking....More

It is an adventurous spot and good place for trekking....should improve the facilities there. During rush time it is very difficult to get entry there. No toilet facilities.. Still we love the place

You can find enough buses from sulthan bathery bus station. You can see the bus route boards in the name of Vaduvanchal, Ambalavayal. You may take tickets to Ambalavayal ( Nearly Rs.10) and hire an autorikshaw(Tuk tuk) to... More

It should be open during monsoons but not a recommended time to visit.

Start at morning. Keep in mind that you have to climb some distance to reach the cave. Take rest at points and climb slowly. Enjoy the trip.
