A stunning location
Sep. 2020
The parco is a beautiful oak woodland full of diverse and stunning sculptures. I went on a cool and wet autumn day which added a lot of ambience whether it was the glistening stone and marble or the solitude from the weather in the labyrinth and time trap taking you to a different world. I downloaded the app which really added to the experience. It allowed me to interact with the sculptures in a way I would not have thought of. It is amazing that this location could get such a diverse range of artists to design such creative, striking and fascinating sculptures that are created so specifically for their location. And grazie mille to bella Mitzy el gatto and her beautiful owner who made me feel so welcome.

Unexpected Treat
Sep. 2019
Just can’t rave enough about this gem. The park is not huge but each "sculpture" is world-class. Each is site specific. Materials and sensory experiences vary widely, but each is a treasure. The enthusiastic, knowledgeable woman working at the entrance was so very helpful. We had not downloaded the guide in advance, and were extremely pleased with the audio guide we used at her recommendation, Don’t miss the great pieces scattered along the roads outside of the sculpture park itself!

An unexpected gem of an experience

We happened upon Parco Sculture Del Chianti quite accidentally when we were searching for things to do during our two week stay in Tuscany. It’s an amazing venue that offers you the chance to see some fantastic modern sculpture exhibits in a beautiful wild setting. Walking round you can tell that a great deal of thought and care has gone into placing each piece where it compliments and lends itself to the natural surroundings.

Top tip, we downloaded the accompanying app in advance that gives you a free interactive guide to sculpture as you walk round the park.

We arranged to go along on a day when a ‘Jazz in the park’ concert was taking place in the early evening, set to the backdrop of the beautiful amphitheatre at the centre of the park.

The staff at the park were really friendly and helpful.

Excellent attraction for Art lovers. Not for the mobility impaired.

We really liked the sculpture walk. It has a wide variety of work from sculptors all over the world. Quite expensive at ten euros each. No facilities such as toilets or cafe. The walk is downhill then uphill on a gravelly surface. There are very few resting spots so a hard walk for some, like me. The gravel road getting to it was awful. Our car was filthy afterwards and thank goodness nothing was coming the other way! Still,I suppose you must suffer for your Art!

An amazing sculpture park in the middle of no-where. An interesting mix of modern sculpture in a wild setting. Even at 10 euros a ticket it's well worth a visit.

We had not made plans originally to go here, but our daughter found it on google and it soundd intriguing, so we went. We were staying about 15 mins south of Siena, and it took us around 40 mins to get there. As usual in this location the scenery was stunning. On arrival I just knew this was going to be a good few hours. The site itself is away from the hussle and bussle of daily life and out in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth the trip. There are some 27 sculptures in a wooded walk and each one is specifically placed and crested to suit the particular environment it is in. All these sculpures and as you would expect, unique and imaginative, ranging from some colourful metal cows to a bridge. It was an engaging experience and one you could take young children to. Wrthwhile and we were glad we went.

Great activity in Chianti to do something else than sightseeing and wine-tasting. Really interesting sculptures from artists all around the world. Would recommend the audio guide too. Walk is mostly in forest.

Like no other........

My husband and I came across this sculpture park quite by accident, and were delighted to find such wonderful art and culture in such a special setting. The owner was charming, and we ended up returning a year later to show our family our discovery, and purchased a piece of sculpture from La Fornace Art Gallery.

A re-creative pause...
Nov. 2018 • Couples
This is a gem, not too far from the urban areas of Tuscany, but exactly what one needs for a day’s change of pace. The park is absolutely lovely — beautiful and whimsical, run by a charming and accommodating couple. My husband and I had a glorious time in the later afternoon casually walking the path, excited to see what would appear next and in what setting. The park’s app is nicely done. The sculptors are from all over the world which seems brilliant. This is just a fantastic place to visit!! PS We think children would also love this magical place.

Something different in Tuscany
Oct. 2018 • Couples
This sculpture park is a little different than others you may have visited. It is the middle of the woods with sculptures submitted from around the world that have been purposefully selected to fit within the natural environment. It was commented, that if you, you will probably visit a place even most locals likely don’t know about. At a pondering pace, it does take about an hour to visit. You will need to drive off the asphalt roads and take some white (gravel) roads to get there. The park was featured this past year in National Geographic Travel magazine. Well worth it if you want to see something a little different.
