Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is a jewel of a place. We were staying at La Vesse and took the steep walk over the Rocky promontory but it was worth it. A gorgeous little cove to swim in with crystal clear water. It felt very safe too. Only local cars are allowed in the village so you can end up parking quite far away, but we were lucky to be staying in the next cove. I can imagine it gets quite busy in the summer - and it’s a very small place. But we loved our time here. Definitely worth the trip!

Only residents cars are allowed in the village. It's quite a walk down a steep hill and a good few steps from the car park (free).
It's well worth the effort. There's a little pebble beach around the sheltered bay. The warm, emerald water is lovely to swim in, but shallow enough at the margins for small children to play safely.
There is a magnificent view across the bay to Marseille.
There are a couple of restaurants. We had the best moules I've ever tasted in one of them. Its name escapes me, but its terrace was across the road from the restaurant.

Port de Niolin is a pretty little cove, off the beaten track. The village itself is very quaint with a victorian railway station, a handful of restaurants and cafes, and a small beach. It is virtually impossible to park in the village. There is a car park outside, meaning a 5 minute walk down the steep hill (but more like 10 - 15 on the way back unless you're very fit)!

It's a great place for children to paddle and swim in the mediterranean, but as the beach area is quite small, it can be difficult to find space. For swimming, another option is simply to dive off the rocks!

Very small port and very cute. Pleasant for a walk and the scenery. The path is small and the restaurants are super good
