Marvellous service from the crew of Misty Isle on an unforgettable visit to Loch Coruisk. I also witnessed them giving efficient, calm and friendly help to a very frail lady who was finding the conditions challenging. Jim Godbolt

We did the standard trip to Lake Coruisk with the Misty Isles boat. It was a lovely day, plenty of sunshine and the trip was fantastic! We saw seals from the boat and learned some interesting things about the region and its history! The walk to Lake Coruisk is easy and beautiful. Very recommended!!

I was a bit concerned about the boat trip as I sometimes get sea sick. The crew were exceptionally helpful and kind. They even helped out with my dog. So glad I went, I had a fantastic time. I'd like to say thanks very much to the kind crew.

Having booked to travel into Lock Coruisk with a couple of friends ahead of a long walk through to Camasunary Bay and back over the Bad Step to where we'd arrived in the Misty Isle we agreed a return time with the crew and set off. Underestimating the time the walk would take, one off us made it back in... More

Booked the long boat trip with these guys. Skipper was nice and friendly. Some good knowledge about the wildlife we seen, such as Puffis, and all the amazing sea birds. Seen some seals and dolphins too. We visited an Island called Canna. Lovely little Island but could have done with longer visiting, but it's a long boat trip so appreciate... More

Loch Coruish is only accessible by boat but is well worth the trip. There are a couple of peebly beaches and a waterfall.

The journey to Loch Coruisk is absolutely exciting to take. Recommended by John working at the sligachan hotel, we booked the ferry the very last minute on Saturday with little idea about what to be expected. When we arrived Elgol, the seaside of Elgol itself is breathtaking with stunning geological features. The ferry trip led by Capitain James was very... More

Beautiful sail to Loch Coruisk. A very friendly and informative trip through spectacular scenery including a very close up view of a colony of basking seals. A big thank you to Duncan our skipper whose local knowledge ensured a memorable experience.

Staff and crew are friendly and helpful. The boat was comfortable enough for the length of trip which is about 2& 3/4 hours including time for a trip from landing area to a fresh water loch about 15mins walk/scramble away. Do have good shoes as there is the risk of wet feet during the walk. It is one of two... More
