Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A good choice of food and merchandise albeit quite expensive especially the fruit and vegetables.

Checkouts Becoming more crowded since the extension.

Avoid the bread it’s all been frozen if it’s not sold on the day it’s then as tough as old boots with a white core centre!

We visited the Boat Avenue markets twice during our visit to Phuket and really enjoyed it both times.

Lots to see, buy, and eat, with so many food options to choose from.

It's a fun market, busy and bright, with music and dancers.

We all thoroughly enjoyed it and we'll be back again.

I was looking for whisky and got excellent service from Cristina. Stock was running low everywhere and she went out of her way to place the order for me. Great follow up and effort on her part. I see the old service standard coming back in her. Well done Cristina

We went here because this is one of the places our shuttle bus takes us. Overall we were not impressed. This place is highly touristy (and so are the prices 🙃). My man actually said, walking around here, he didn’t feel like he was in Thailand. I agree. If you are looking to see some of the authenticity of Thailand and their friendly prices.. do not come here.

Busy and fun each Friday evening. Loads of street food which was delicious. Just about everything you’d expect was available. Also all the others usual stuff you’d expect for sale. And great live music for free. An amazing 12 year old girl playing guitar and singing - a real talent. Great fun and we are going back again this Friday night.

The Friday Walking Street market was good. Totally like the ambience with artists and musicians too. Street market food and souvenirs were reasonably priced. Sellers were courteous as well. Other than the street market, there were cafes and restaurants such as Kenny Rogers, Burger King, Swensens, Coffee Club. Had dinner at Coffee Club. Service was great and staffs were very courteous and warm. Hope to visit again. =)

Our first experience of a night market in Thailand. Great set up, lots of food to choose from and other crafted items. Food was great (tasting and value) and a good vibe around the place. There’s actually lots of great bars and restaurants on Boat Avenue too that you don’t really notice with the market there, worth going back another night of the week too!

Lots of food options, this place looks better in the night.
Bars, cafes, restaurants are endless. Not a lot in the shopping / fashion happening here.
Close by there are massage places, speak easies, oh and for those requiring marijuana (dope) there are a number of outlets too. Not my thing.

We travelled to Boat Harbour to do some shopping after travelling around Thailand.
However beware as there are shops, but they seem to be boutique style and priced at at least 3 times what we experienced in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
There are lots of restaurants, a few bars and a coffee shop or two, with a special mention for the excellent Segafredo coffees.
The 2 hours we were there was an hour to long.
