Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The drive to this bridge that connects the island of Phuket to the Thai mainland is somewhere we always visit when in Phuket. The drive around from Patong is enjoyable and the walk from one ned of the bridge to the other is a nice way to relax and enjoy a great example of Islamic inspired architecture.

Absolutely useless empty dilapidated place with nothing on it or around it. Don’t waste your time. No food and no toilets either

There's a good news for Thailand lovers like me , Although Phuket is an island but you can go there Via Bus or Car. There's an amazing 660-meters bridge that is called Saphan Sarasin. The bridge connects Phuket island to the mainland of Thailand, imagine you are in Krabi and suddenly you miss Freedom Beach in Phuket, don't worry the solution is very easy, go to the first car rent shop and rent a car (1200 Baht Daily) and set off for the Freedom Beach. Or assume it's high season and you can't find a direct flight for Phuket island, don't worry and listen to me, First: Catch a flight for Bangkok. Second: take a "Grab" and go to the Bangkok Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai), it takes about one hour. Third: buy a ticket for Phuket Bus Terminal 2 (in tambon Ratsada), the bus trip takes about 12 hours and the average ticket price is 1100 Baht. And if you want to stay less than 1 week in phuket, it's better to rent a car from Bangkok airport (credit card is needed) and drive to phuket , and when you finished the trip, drive back to Bangkok and give back the Car. Crossing the Sarasin old bridge (buil in 1951) is always exciting. The 11-meters width bridge holds the name of "Pote Sarasin" Thailand's Foreign Minister.

This was a pleasant end to the bike ride from Mai Khao beach. Fishermen were friendly and the view was quite pleasant

We had been wanting to see this connection between Phuket and mainland Thailand and so on our last night, decided to stay at a hotel near to the airport (which is not too far from the bridge).
Our hotel arranged for a taxi (3 wheeler tuk tuk), collected us and took us to the bridge. We walked across, watched the locals fishing for their dinner, took a few pics and then had a refreshing drink at one of the small eateries at the foot of the bridge.
A pleasant experience but nothing else to do there.....

Is a very beautiful bridge. This bridge is very long, is a legendary bridge of couples in Phuket. When we stand on the bridge, then look down. You will see that it is very beautiful. The sea bottom is very deep. The sea is dark blue and has Flocks of small animals, many animals.

It is a very long bridge, a bridge overlooking the sea and this bridge is a legend of love. At present, no cars run as a place to watch the scenery and take beautiful pictures. You will come in the morning or evening. The scenery is beautiful. If you come, you will like.

It’s a bridge. Joins one bit of land to another. You would definitely get wet if it wasn’t there. I wouldn’t recommend including on sightseeing tour.
