Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We thought this would be an amazing place to take master 4 to.
To be fair, it was extremely underwhelming compared to other air museums we have been to.
There is only 1 hanger which isn’t overly large.
The staff are passionate with their sharing and delivery of information.
Definitely worth a visit for history lovers.

Great collection of military aircraft, well presented and easily accessible.
Fantastic staff who go out of their way to help you get the best out of the place.
Don't miss the last Huey to fly with an ADF crew!
NB: If using a GPS or Google maps Do Not use McNaught Rd as this takes you to the wrong side of the airfield. Use Aerodrome Rd, off Bribie Island Rd, and follow to the end, turning right and follow to the signs. It's a dead end so you can't go too far past it.

Took a group of elderly clients there and they all had a great time it was very interesting and the volunteer staff there were well informed describing the ins and outs of each exhibit as they led us round. Would recommend a visit for anyone, well worth a visit.

We took family visitors had a lovely time our friendly guide was very informative. We have lived and visited the area for over 30 years and didn't realise how good it was we will definitely be back. Would be good for young people today to see how it was for our diggers. Hats off to you all

I turned up about 10 am and had a wonderful, personally escorted, tour around the place by a wonderful fellow who oozed enthusiasm about this quite amazing place. (As I wandered around I soon realised that I was the only tourist there and the rest were folks who volunteered there and/or worked there. They all seemed to love doing what they did there :}/ Importantly, I went away knowng a LOT more about Australian aviation history. Even more importantly I learnt about Leonard Victor Waters, our first, first nation RAAF pilot.

There is a wide a variety of aircraft from WW1 to relatively recent. Many are seen flying. The mock WW1 dogfights are fun. An interesting Vietnam war collection.
