Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely Barbara welcomed us into the museum despite us missing advertised opening hours. Extremely well appointed and laid out community museum with interesting artefacts and memorabilia. Several hours flew by. Staff very knowledgeable on local history with a deep sense of pride in their community. Entry by donation. Please be generous and make a donation if you visit as they rely on our support.

No entry fee. Donations gratefully accepted. What a hidden gem. Just off the highway a little bind the artesian spa. I saw some things in here that I have t seen in other. Uses us. Beautifully set out - school house, church, dry cleaning shop. So many interesting g things, not to mention the volunteer looking after it that day. Can't remember his name but what an interesting character and he is over 90!! Great visit. Don't miss it!

The museum is housed in the old Booringa Shire Council workshop & Store and it is HUGE! Lots and lots of stuff to see here and all of it interesting. It is set out in areas of interest. One display had all the old machinery from the dry cleaners. Another was a school room from days long gone. We spent ages in here and really enjoyed every bit of it.
