Last Thursday (6 May) we had an awesome experience walking in the Carnarvon Gorge made so much better with our Nature Guide, Michelle. Without her knowledge, we would not have the same experience. She pointed out many interesting things about the flora and fauna that we would have just walked past. Michelle also told us so much about the history of the gorge and the interpretations of the early Aboriginal artwork seen at the "Art Gallery" rock face. Guides like Michelle are worth every cent spent to hire. We totally recommend hiring a Nature Guide to get the most from your visit.

Gosh! Thank you for this glowing review of our Lower Gorge Explorer, David! We certainly had a wonderful day exploring the Gorge together. I'm so glad to hear that I was able to leave a lasting impression, and help bring this special landscape to life. I look forward to visiting you both in NZ one day! Thanks again - Michelle.

Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children 8-14) joined Michelle’s tours in the April school holidays. We had a fantastic time and the tours are not to be missed when visiting the gorge. Michelle was able to impart her great knowledge of the geology and how the gorge was formed which is quite mind blowing. Yes you can visit the gorge and go on great walks and appreciate the scenery however you will not fully appreciate Carnarvon Gorge without joining the Australian Natures Guide tours.

What a fabulous review! Thank you Craig and family! It was such a pleasure escaping the school holiday crowds with all of you as we ventured off-track at Carnarvon Gorge. I just love seeing young families getting out and about and engaging with the natural world. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience so thoroughly, and that my explanations (and demonstrations) of how the Gorge formed helped bring our local geology to life. Thank you so much for joining us! All the best, Michelle.

The tour was a very rewarding experience for my wife and I. Simon showed us things that we would normally have just walked past without noticing. HIs interpretation and explanation of the rock art was really insightful. Thanks Simon.

Michelle was the best guide, took her time and got to know us to calibrate our fitness level and interest in the doing the 9 hour walk. She quickly learnt our names and rereferred to us personally each time in conversation. She was so knowledgeable and made sure she had answered all of our questions before moving on. I love the cathedral. It was spectacular.

Thank you, 202corinned! I sincerely appreciate you posting this wonderful review of our Lower Gorge Explorer Tour. We certainly had a fabulous day visiting some of Carnarvon Gorge's most iconic locations, and it sounds like the Amphitheatre in particular resonated most with you. A musician's perspective, perhaps? Thank you again for your company. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip! Cheers, Michelle.
