Nice views, wonderful trail. If possible, try to go to Benagil Beach and take a boat. A trip to caves will be unforgettable.

Vice nice walk on the cliff. We ended up with a boat trip on the praia Benagil. The walk is sometimes difficult and you should wear good walking shoes. We took a boat trip (30 minutes, 15 €/person)

We used the excellent ‘Walking Trails in the Algarve’ free pdf guide (just put it into Google) to provide both the details on the route and a very handy OS-style map. Following local advice we parked our hire car and started off from Praia da...More

Can't add much to other reviews other than to say this is well worth a side trip from wherever you are in the Algarve. The trails are not difficult, although we didn't to the whole hike, and the formations and colors are very photogenic. We...More

Great views from the cliffs on the limestone rocks, on the unspoiled beaches you can't reach on foot, descending to other beaches, with some bars on the route for refreshments, some nice picnic places, some great blow holes. If you don't want to do the...More

Walk along the cliffs on easy unmaintained footpaths. Great views and interesting cliff formations. Not very busy so you can take your time.

This was a great way to see the coast. Not terribly difficult but definitely check the weather and bring water and sunscreen; there is not a lot of shade. I took the train from Lagos to Portimao and then waiting for a taxi to turn...More

We walked just 500 mts with the kids, above Marinha beach but it's incredible. I will come back to walk along all the valleys through all the beaches as it's a fantastic adventure with fantastic views.

There and back is 6 hours, but you can always do it one way (3 hours) and catch a taxi back to where you parked your car. And no, it's a fairly easy hike.
