To visit Propast Macocha is a very nice excursion. It's very good compilated. The first half is a walk in the stalagmite cave, than we can see the Macocha Abyss and finally we make water cruise. I hope to be herre again.

Boat rides into the caves...even on a Wednesday...sold out. Sold out always apparently. Yet when I walked past the docks at 13:45 (01:45pm) the were 4-5 boats docked and seemingly no action taking place on the boat dock. Almost like they just shut down early...which...More

Despite the fact that the abyss itself is free, the most interesting place (also for taking photographs) is inside the Punkva cave where purchasing of tickets is mandatory and they are almost always sold out (not only during weekends!). That is why we advice reservation...More

Located in nice nature, with two "bridges" - viewpoints offering nice opportunity for family trip. You can use small train and cable lift if you leave your car in Stary mlyn. During the summer months the surrounding is overcrowded.

A great spot for having a look around and down the Punkva caves. Could be combined with visiting the Punkva cave and a small tavern Chata Macocha. You can go up there by funicular or to have a nice stroll enjoing the nature around.

We have been here several times. It is a great day trip or just spend a few hours. Very interesting geology as well as a nice cave to walk through. They bring you out on boats. Fun
