We visited here as two couples. Upon check in, I asked if I could use the phone to let someone know I had arrived safely. It was treacherous out and I had never driven the road alone before. I was told I had to use the phone in the room. The phone in the room didn't work. I asked if... More

We drove up and visited the ice museum, wandered over to the reindeer, went in the hot springs and then visited their restaurant on our single day up there. I had originally been looking to stay here overnight but so glad we didn't. It is a resort out in the middle of nowhere so while it is a nice drive... More

Had a very great time out at Chena Hot Springs last night. We stayed in the cabins they were prefect, truly a taste of rustic Alaska life with some of the comforts of home. Would suggest to everyone if you want a great experience call and reserve a cabin for a overnight or a long weekend

The $15 charge is good for 24 hours so you can come back again later but it's a bit of a drive from civilization. With that said, I found it very clean, friendly staff, and a relaxing experience. You have to be careful...I'd say the average temperature of the outdoor pool is around is 88° but the spring is refreshing... More

We planned to stay 2 nights in Chena Hot Springs and we're glad we cancelled our 2nd night! We were bored out of our minds!!! First of all, unfortunately, the weather wasn't favourable... we had a wet day and night so that meant, no Aurora Borealis which we were hoping to see at Chena Hot Springs. Second night was meant... Went there for the various activities held at the resort but did not stay there. I visited the aurora ice museum, and later on joined my family for the chena hot springs and the free geothermal tour. There were of course other activities such as horseback riding and souvenir shops to visit, and you can also stroll around the area... More

The hot springs it's pretty hot on the day I went, but I managed to find a spot it's right temperature, so I got to soak in the hot springs and enjoyed the beautiful flowers/view around the hot springs. This is my first time dipped into hot springs, it's kind of interesting to know that the hot springs has natural... More

The Chena hot springs were beautiful! I unfortunately did not bring my bathing suit, so I walked around to see the dog mushers in training & went horseback riding. Cassie was my tour guide & was great!
