All you need to know: Don't stay at the Sheraton (within Wanda Resort), Changbaishan, Jilin, PRC. -------- One caveat: Ms Ma, Manager, tried to help when she heard all of what was going on. Unfortunately her efforts were too late to make up for front...More

This resort is very well done. It is skiing made simple. Every hotel room booking includes 2 adult resort pass and 1 child under 12 pass for free. This pass allows for free equipment rental and acts as a ski pass. It also allows access...More

For an experienced skiier, it is nice to see almost no queues for the chairlifts and cable cars, and amusing to see the bunny slopes and magic carpets packed with adults. The "black" runs here would probably be blues in America or Europe, and the...More

For beginners and intermediate. Very good beginners slopes. Excellent magic carpet. No queues. Ski centre is good, but limited English speakers. Not many English instructors, and costs 1300 yuan for 2 hours for my kids. 3 days will be sufficient as not that many runs....More

Small airport, but it works. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Only a handful of flights in and out each day, so if you miss your plane, you're screwed.

I spent 2 days on the hill - they have great terrain - and if they opened up the tree sections this would be a serious contender to Japan (Niseko) - but not yet - the run all have barriers so almost impossible to duck...More

Stayed for skiing 3 days over Christmas. Just want to state that everything here was above expectation. Slopes, rental system, ski lifts, preparation. We were very satisfied here!

If you are skiier, then the resort is a wonderful ski resort. However, there is limited restaurant for you to choose out of the hotel. Hence, it is pricey if you have all your meals in the 5 star hotels.

Still in the process of completion but what has been completed so far looks to a very high standard and certainly the alpine lodge theme is carried out well throughout the complex. With some large names already established there such as Holiday Inn, Westin, Sheraton...More
