Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice easy walk to the lookout platform. Gorgeous views of the valley and Australia's highest peak. Would be amazing during winter.

Stunning views along this short walk. The trees are very old and fascinating in terms of their shapes. The view at the lookout at the end is to die for.

A nice Summer day's walk along the Boardwalk to the lookout. I think 400m from memory. We had no trouble getting a park in the small carpark which I would imagine fill very quickly in peak times. Really nice views over the mountains and the gum trees and wild flowers along the boardwalk were good to see.

Last time I was here it was imminent rain, but this time, wow, what a view. Its a gentle walk along the ridgetop to a platform with spectacular views

Very popular, not enough car parking for the level of attraction, so go early

Recently on a trip to the Snowy Mountains area, we visited the Snow Gums Boardwalk lookout at Charlotte Pass. Parking is available. The boardwalk takes you along to two viewing areas, one a short stroll from the carpark, and the other up quite a few steps to the spectacular lookout overlooking the snow gums and Charlotte Pass area and mountains beyond. This lookout is certainly worth a visit.

We drove up to Charlotte Pass. There was a massive number of cars parked on the side of the road (precariously considering the drop down to the valley in places). We were very happy to find a small carpark with time limited parking at the very top. Just enough time to do this very short walk. The gum trees were stunning and the view over the mountains was lovely. A great lazy alternative to all those hikers walking all day to get to the top of Kosciuszko.

I rode to Charlotte Pass in summer just for the scenery, and it was a very pleasent surprise to find this boardwalk to a great viewing platform, where you can enjoy the vista.

Loads of snow around still in mid-December, but the road was dry and safe to access all the way to this car park

very pleasant short walk along the boardwalk to a lookout, overlooking Mt Kosicuszko and Rawsons pass. Very easy and a must do when in Charlottes Pass. Only downside was getting harassed by ppl wanting to sign there petition to cull the wild brumbies at the commencement of the walk.

Drive to the pass, walk to the boardwalk and check out the iconic view of the main range. Snowgums nearby. Beautiful.

We rode our motor bikes up to Charlottes Pass, The view is beautiful and stunning. There had been fresh snow fall a few days before we went. The mountains were stunning with snow on them.
