Nicky and island trips

Nicky arranged my airport transfers and all my excursions on the island. He is absolutely amazing and speaks perfect English which helped me so much. My favourite was Phi Phi and Maya Bay. Couldn’t recommend him enough

Follow Me Phuket Nicky

I messaged Nicky prior to leaving Perth for airport transfers, he organised 3 tours for us, sunset tour, island tour and the tiger park and cashew factory. Nicky came to the hotel at an arranged time and we sat down and went through all the tours we wanted. We never felt pressured to anything we didn’t want and we made changes at the last minute so we could watch the AFL grand final. Not an issue. He drove us around privately and his knowledge was amazing.

BEST TOUR OPERATOR/ AIRPORT PICK UP/DROP OFF

Highly recommend Nicky .. if your after somebody to book all the tours and even go out of his way to make sure everything goes ahead he his your man.. he also booked a driver for our pick up/drop off to airport.

We did a half day tour Atv,big Buddha, wat chalong temple.
He explained what the meaning was an how the Thai people do at the temple .. even got us the lotus,candles, incense.

Our favourite was going to the elephant sanctuary.. an amazing experience.

An extremely disappointing experience

We were asked to pay a lot of money upfront for the trips and felt blindsided, not understanding we were being ripped off at that point. When we asked for a price breakdown (a completely reasonable request) we were told that we would not get one as it was Nicky’s ‘package’. Initially we felt this was unfair considering we hadn’t even been on any of the trips at this point. Nicky agreed to take half the money as at the time we only had a certain amount of Thai baht and we were going to the Phi Phi Islands. He said he needed the remaining balance ASAP when we were back. When we arrived back and went on our first tour, Nicky came and picked us up and took us to a restaurant before our show. He proceeded to sit and have dinner with us which was a little bit uncomfortable as we were expecting to have dinner on our own. For the next few tours, Nicky was our driver however he was late on a number of occasions when picking us up to which we were hanging around waiting for him, then we were met by a number of different excuses as to why he was late. Not only was this obscenely expensive compared to the prices on street which may I add you get EXACTLY the same package i.e hotel transfer, lunch, tour, upon arriving to one of the paid trips ‘jewelry factory’ turned out to be a free entry experience, so we’re paying a premium just for a taxi drop-off. The Jewelry wasn’t even very interesting, as it was basically 20 minutes of being followed around by a salesperson trying to convince you to buy jewelry. The other experiences were good, but not made any better by Nicky and as mentioned earlier in the review, we could’ve had the exact same package but for most likely half the price Nicky charged and had a better time for it. Considering part of the package was ‘private tours’, we were picked up and taken to one of our trips by a minibus, which picked up several other couples before taking us to the trip when we thought Nicky was going to be our driver/tour guide for the entire week. We complained to Nicky via text and he did get us a transfer on return, but this isn’t something we should’ve had to request considering how much money we have paid. This whole experience caused us much discomfort on holiday and in theory we should’ve said no initially however being first time tourists in Thailand, we were finding our feet and wanted the help of someone in the area. To summarize, you’ll pay a premium with ‘follow me tours’ and not get value for money at all or a personal experience. Any time spent with Nicky was extremely impersonal as he was either on his phone or totally absent. If you do go with Nicky, make sure you get a price breakdown you’re happy with and absolutely confirm the plans each day, or you will end up feeling extremely disappointed.

Please DO NOT use Nicky for your tours in Thailand. He is crazily expensive and you can get the tours and transfers for a fraction of the price if you book at the tour operators in Patong/Phuket/Kata etc. Everything is so easily available to book in Thailand such as taxis/tours through your hotel/bolt app so my advice to you is… if you want to save money, not have your holiday ruined by someone wanting to rip you off and get better service, I urge you to book through the street vendors and to not use Nicky!!

Fantastic Day Trip

Nicky was amazing. He organised our pick up and drop off from the airport to our resort which was awesome as no stress to pick a taxi service. He also took us on a day trip around the island to the sights we hadn't seen yet. It was great as he met us the day before at our resort to plan where we were going to go which was awesome as each traveler doesn't necessarily want to do the same things so this allowed us to easily choose what we wanted. I had a great day and Nicky was great. Would definitely recommend using him for a day trip around the island,

Fantastic Personal Tour Service

Follow Me Phuket is a small family run tour business owned and operated by Nicky. We have been using Nicky as our personal assistant everytime we visit Thailand for the last 9 years. From simple airport transfers to extended sightseeing tours, Nicky is able to accommodate it all.
Nicky is a very friendly, funny guy who goes out of his way to make your experience memorable. Talk to Nicky about where you want to go, and what you want to see and do, and he will organise everything. We love being able to travel around alone with Nicky, rather than in a larger bus or tour. Importantly for us, Nicky is able to show us the "behind the scenes" Phuket. He will happily take you to the small markets, the hidden restaurants, and the hidden temples that the locals use. Seeing the big attractions is important of course, but spending time on the often overlooked detail is brilliant.
We wholeheartedly recommend Nicky and his business, Follow Me Phuket.

Top Notch!

We used Nicky's Follow Me Phuket services in 2016 when we were a group of 9. Hubby and I went back the following year by ourselves and again contacted Nicky for airport pick up and a day trip. So glad to get back there this year after the hellish 2 years of not being able to travel. We weren't disappointed. Easy and safe drive from the airport to Patong ( and back again) . All safety measures in place. Nicky is passionate about what he does and it shines through. He is quick to respond to any message I send and is only to happy to help.

Nicky was awesome

Nicky took the stress out of our travel for an Australia couple that have never been too Phuket.
He took as on a sightseeing day trip, plus set us up with two reasonable priced tours that had everything we wanted to do and more.
If the tour company was late he would check up on them to see how far away they would be.
We took a taxi to old Phuket and didn’t want to stuff around with another taxi on the way home. So I messaged him and asked if he knew anyone in the area and he organised it for us.
Nothing was a hassle for him, I will be recommending him to my friends and family.
We had a fantastic time
