It is slightly cheaper than Europe and there is more to choose from. However if it’s a bargain you are looking for stop in Dubai on the way here. Masses of set jewelry PC's, looked amazing, she wasnt impressed I didn't like the prices and said I know your style & took me too the fashion jewelry lol!!.. I just know my materials and won't be getting ripped off. A very fancy gallery, sellng lovely gems, jewellery, handbags and the like.
We were taken here on the back of a trip from the Cruise Company, as nice as it is, the stuff for sale is so expensive. A belt in crocodile skin ( I think) was £300, and the bags were hundreds of pounds even thousands. The gems were very nice, I cant deny that.
The problem was, we were followed around, and every time you stopped to look at something, there was a sales rep at your side. As you walked around we were followed everywhere and it made us feel like criminals and we felt on edge.

It is our direction to all our staffs to be active providing hands and services to every of our visitors. Added by the Thai hospitality practice of highly attentive culture, that could have made you felt uncomfortable spending time inside our place. However, we all have no intention to push hard sales or make bad feelings for our visitors.

Visited as part of a tour with my husband. It started of fine with one of the salesmen talking you us, however he then became extremely pushy about us buying something. At one point he was being pushy about rings that cost the equivalent of £8000!! In the end my husband bought a small elephant just so the salesman would stop following us! Worst part of whole two weeks in Thailand.

It's worth going to as an excursion. The gallery is huge and beautiful with a giant salwater fish tank surrounding all of the jewelry cases. The jewelry selection is enormous and in every price range. People complain about the staff being aggressive. I did not find that, but found them very informative. I would tell them I'm just looking and I'll let them know if I need help. They were respectful of that.

Professional set up and contrary to other reviews we didn’t get hassled by the staff.
I haven’t given a great review purely based on price.
It is slightly cheaper than Europe and there is more to choose from. However if it’s a bargain you are looking for stop in Dubai on the way here. Far superior quality stones, sales guys really know what they are talking about and designs are as good.

Gems Gallery had a myriad of varieties of jewellery and stones. The staff were great especially Meena was very enthusiastic and eager to serve us. She helped us in selecting the jewellery. We were very happy with her service and would return to the place next time.

I went there on my cruise, I wanted to buy something 100% natural and non-treated stones. I asked the salesperson whether my ruby ring is natural and non-treated, he confirmed very confidently. After I came back to Australia, I went to 3 different Jewellery shops and one valuer, they all said it's lab created stone and they are not natural. The price is only worth 1/10 of what I paid for! (not mentioning the sales person showed me wrong converted price).
I called and emailed them to ask for refund. 2 managers said I can have refund if I bring the ring back personally, I was planning to do that and ask for an email confirmation, then I had an email saying they won't refund. I called again and talked to another manager, he asked me to get a certificate to prove if it's not natural then they will refund, I asked for an email confirmation again as I don't want to pay all that money if they won't refund. Then this time I got transferred to the "big boss" that I have to obtain a certificate to say it not fake ruby then they and I have to go Thailand and having a meeting to prove that salesperson actually said the stone is natural, and my husband is not qualify to be a witness! You think the saleperson dare to say that he confirmed it was a natural stone on the day? They are just irresponsible people and treated their customers like stupid people. The whole thing is a scam and they dare to do this as we are tourist and cannot do much.
Please don't get cheated by them. It is just another scam in Thailand. I trusted them as I thought they are a big company and won't cheat tourist, but I was totally wrong.

I have never felt as offended as I felt in that place!!! Their website and even here on trip advisor, little is explained about this place. Because of that, Whatever expectations I had about this place were 180 degree different from their expectations from customers. So HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE VISITING THIS PLACE! READ IT! This is NOT a sight seeing point of interest for you to go and take pictures! This is NOT some bazar or souk you just visit for few minutes and leave. This is a place where they actually expect SERIOUS BUYERS to go spend thousands of dollars on Jewelries.
These guys are doing it the professional way, they receive you at the entrance, they escort you to a special sales person who takes you around the place where no cameras are allowed. You end up win a very huge sales floor with so many varieties of jewelries and there they expect you to BUY something! So the reason why i rate this place poor and why i felt humiliated was when i told the sales guy, i am here to watch and take photos, i did not budget for buying Jewelries, he felt offended and said YOU MUST BUY SOMETHING, YOU CANNOT LEAVE LIKE THAT! That pissed me off a lot and told him, I am leaving and i am not buying anything and you can go do whatever you want! I informed him that you have a poor website and support on your briefing at TripAdvisor and that you should let people know what you expect from them! Where I come from, if someone insist that i cannot leave without buying something, before he finish his sentence, he would have got kicked in his balls!

I buy gems and gold frequently around the world and know pretty much what I like , price and quality . We decided to go 'the worlds biggest jewellery store' as it was raining. I had already bought diamonds, sapphires and gold in Patong so I knew rough prices. It's quite a crazy place expensive vivariums and some type rollercoaster thing. Clearly all this flashiness needs paying for.... But not by me!
The gems certainly appeared nice quality but prices horrific
I wouldn't even start bartering I couldn't be bothered . She decided because I wasn't buying to show me cubic zirconia instead.... Yuk
