Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So full. Disgusting overtourism!
What used to be one of the best snorkeling spots was not adequately protected from hords of tourists walking and touching corals. A resort is being built and the Hydrofoil show-offs inconsiderately take all space and endanger swimmers, kids, divers and snorkelers by dashing into the little shallow area with their razor sharp foils.
So sad to see nobody did protect Ao Sane!

Unfortunately this beach is now derelict. It seems the buildings and beds etc have now been cleared away to make way for development. It is a lovely cove but be prepared there are no facilities and if you look out to see it’s fantastic but dont look back unless you want to see rubbish and rubble.

Small, remote beach. Few people, Great for children to play and for snorkeling. The riff starts very near the beach. About 1km from the main Nai Harn On beach to the west

The beach is beautiful and a bit Boho. Easily best snorkelling on the island, and a bar serves cold drinks. One of my favourite places in Phuket. The restaurant isn't great quality but the beach is fab.

So, this beach is the most “stone/rock-ei” beach I’ve been to so far… but you can be almost alone with someone if that’s what you want!👍😉

The road here was not so comfortable but the place is the pearl of the Island, snorkeling is as good as Banana beach and the second after Koh Tao, great surprise ! The restaurant next to the beach is great, authentic Thai and serves food and beverage to the sun tanning chairs next to it!

This is our favourite beach on Phuket. Not to crowdy, one restaurant, great snorkeling. If you rent sun chair, you get a free 0,5L water.

This secret little cove beach is just beautiful! NOT for the immobile....there is a pretty small but very steep hill to get down.....but worth it!

There is a dive centre tucked away for snorkel equipment hire and dive trips can also be booked! Real finding Nemo treat 🐠

Cool off afterward in a cute wooden shack of a bar for an ice cold beer or fresh 🥥!

This is a great secluded beach situated not that far from Phuket town.

Lovely sights of the water and the scenery made for some great photos as well. While it is not overcrowded, it has people thronging the place for activities including scuba diving and snorkelling etc.

Don’t miss the little restaurant here after lazying around the beach

The ao sane beach is a lovely little beach with very few tourists and a restaurant. Unfortunately for us the sea was quite rough and snorkling was not really possible due to the fact.

It was our favourite beach of phuket nontheless and I can fully recommend giving it a try! Especially if it is the right season, they are even offering snorkling gear, scuba diving trips and renting boats there.
