    Great food and great atmosphere
Very nice vibes market , I’ve managed to assist to magic show and a live band. Food is great ! But when it come to shopping you have to pay the full price, there is no negotiation for prices compared to all the other markets have been in Phuket. But defo recommended to pay a visit.

    Quaint and Local Markets
Our guide brought us to Chillva Markets - it looked like somewhere all the locals go. So any varieties of food which we had not seen before and even things we would not normally consume like scorpions and insects. It was interesting to walk around. There was some live music. Enjoyed just watching the locals go about their usual activity.

Great modern market combined with traditional Thai food stalls
Great market with a huge array of modern products, combined well with a huge array of traditional Thai foods from the many stalls. Here you can experience foods that range from good ol BBQ ribs, right through to the more exotic delicacies such as fried bugs, crickets and scorpions. We all bought something from the retail shops and tried a bit of food though we had already had dinner so could not fit in much - even though I wanted to experience more of the traditional foods. The market is really tidy and well structured, there is a shop that sells alcohol with a huge range of beers on ice that you can buy and walk around drinking. A diverse range of beers from around the world including Hoegaarden from the Netherlands, which was a nice surprise. Make sure you check this sce out at least once to tick it off!

    Cheap and lively
It was a great lively market with almost cheapest food, hand crafts for souvenir, clothes and two separate live music. For example, beach shoes that were 200-250 baht in patong were 100-130 baht here. There were also Massage beds for those who were tired of walking 😅

Average market, with some good food but not much else.
Naka night market, around 10 minutes away by car, is much better - clothes of all sorts, food, music, and lots of other good stuff.

The place to hunt for street food is all here. Many goods and knick-knacks are sold cheaply. Clothes are also sold here. Always busy but still looks clean 👍🏻

Prices are very cheap here. There are also extreme foods available here such as dried fried insects. Amazing dinner trip in Thailand, truly unlike anywhere else in Asia. Highly recommended for culinary tourism.

Poor. Hardly anything open other than the large BBQ restaurant. Had been given a big build up by locals but did not live up to expectations

Completely brilliant. The family enjoyed hours of shopping and eating here. You get an authentic feeling about the place with heaps of locals shopping, and the food is amazing. Huge amount of bargains to be had!

Lively, bustling with activities and tons to buy and eat and shop around. Plenty of seating around different shops and a main area with live band, great for a relaxing night out with friends.
