Very luxurious
Jan. 2020
Everything was above standard. The staff tried to please nd very pleasant.
Only reason not 5 star is the setting on the side of a mountain. The hotel does provide a free bus , just ask. If you would rather walk then take breathing apparatus. I would go back time and time again.

Spend the extra and get a massage here
May 2019 • Couples
This spa is based on the hotel grounds so the massages are at western prices. $60 for an hour etc but they are definitely worth it.
The ladies are amazing here and their hospitality is second to none.
You are relaxed from the moment you step into the spa.
You also can book the hot tub and steam room as part of your massage and I highly recommend you do. Perfect way to rest after an hour massage.

Wonderful Balinese Massage
Jan. 2019 • Couples
My husband and I have just had a superb hour having a Balinese Massage at Cheeva Spa. My massage was done by Air and having had many massages over the years I would rate her and this very highly! A very relaxing and chilled out experience.

TERRIBLE HOSPITALITY - 2 THUMBS DOWN!
Mar. 2018 • Couples
I am not happy with our choice in hotels during our stay in Phuket. I would have preferred to camp in a tent on the beach rather than deal with the stupidity, lack of customer service & hospitality and shady business practices. Upon check in we were told to talk a seat and wait for the shuttle. The lobby was full and there was no end in sight in waiting for this shuttle. We were told 5 mins, 15 mins later still no ride. I ask how to get to our room and the girl at the desk said to just take a seat, the shuttle will be here in 2 mins. I told here she said that 15 mins ago she said it’d be here in 5 mins. We were very tired from traveling all day and just wanted to go to our room to rest. Instead we were FORCED to sit in the lobby with sweat rolling down our arms, legs and back. That is the complete opposite of hospitality and is a great example of NOT taking care of your guests properly.

We finally get to the room and it was fine. The shower door wouldn’t fully close so we had to exit the shower onto a soaking wet floor, not very safe. Beyond that, there weren’t any other room issues other than random noises from other guests staying there. The food at breakfast was average to below average at best. Some of hot items were served on a plate vs a chafing dish and they had a fan blowing directly onto it. Obviously the “hot” food was cold by the time you get to it. Additionally, having a fan blowing on food like that it a health hazard for people consuming it. The fan was not clean and had dust all over it. They have a lot of work to do and should do so before someone gets FOOD POISONING! Food safety should be at the top of the list in a restaurant but it seems to be an afterthought at Mandarava.

We go about our trip and on the day before we leave, I call to the front desk to set up a ride to the airport. We paid 750 B to get the the hotel from the airport. The hotel offers to call a taxi for you and charges 1200 B. I asked them to contact a metered taxi to avoid inflated charge, they never called me back. I called down to the front desk with a metered taxi number so they can call on my behalf. They never called me back. I call down again to the desk, no answer. I call again and again, 5 TIMES later I’m still trying to speak to whoever I spoke to before but she magically disappeared. I finally gave up and just took the 1200 hit. It’s very unfortunate the way that they handle this and quite suspicious. They said they didn’t have a number to a metered taxi which to me sounds like a monopoly on the taxi’s. It’s not right and frankly disappointing that the last thing people experience with their vacation is getting ripped off on their way to the airport. It’s 100% the hotels doing as well since they can conveniently charge the taxi to the room.

Please head the warning and avoid the stress and discomfort in dealing with this unsavory establishment. They provide sub par and inadequate service to their guests and are only interested in 1 thing, it’s not your satisfaction- it’s your money. I suggest spending it somewhere else and enjoying your stay in Phuket.

Floating on Clouds
Jun. 2017 • Friends
Staying at the resort my sister and I were fortunate enough to splash out and book 3 days of treatments. The staff were talented, respectful and always ensured the customer was happy with the pressure and style. We absolutely loved every treatment and massage we had. Generally prices are dearer than the smaller spas on the main streets but compared to the equivalent establishments in Australia it was super cheap, you get what you pay for! The average treatment (massage/wrap/facial) is approx 1600 Baht.
However we opted for the 3 day package for 6000 Baht per person which included;
Day 1: 1 hour massage & body scrub
Day 2: 1 hour massage & body wrap
Day 3: 1 hour massage & facial
There is a wide range of massages to choose from; I recommend the Balinese, Cheeva and the jet lag aromatherapy.
I would definelty return-absolute heaven!

Professional and discrete staff: just perfect.
Aug. 2016 • Couples
Returned after a few years and it was as good as I remember. The staff is very skilled, professional and discrete. So even if you have never been to a spa before, you feel very comfortable.

Even days after the treatment your skin still feels soft. Maybe its a bit expensive but compared to European prices it is duable. Around 3000 For 2 persons (a cleansing wrap and an after sun wrap plus a facial).

What a treat!
Jul. 2016 • Friends
I have not stayed at the resort, however i have used the Spa services. From the moment you arrive, your relaxation journey begins! The place has a very "zen" feel about it. Staff are very pleasant and skilled. I was here twice for 3 hours each time and it was unbelievable! My skin still feels soft from the scrub i had and it has been 3 weeks. Ive also had their Warm Cocoa massage as well as the rebalancing facial and all were really pleasant and very relaxing. It was all well priced too. I would highly recommend this spa if you are staying in Koron or Kata area. A very relaxing and well worth treating yourself to experience 😊

Relaxation Heaven
Jul. 2016 • Couples
My partner and I booked in for a wrap and a massage. She got the 60 minute after sun wrap and the 60 minute Balinese massage, while I got the 60 minute soothing wrap and the Cheeva massage.

I almost fell asleep during my wrap. It was extremely relaxing; listening to soft spa music and the waterfall outside. It made you feel like you were in the rainforest.

The staff were professional, friendly and great at what they did. It was one of the best treatments I have ever gotten.

Finally, we finished off with a delicious cup of complimentary honey & ginger tea. It was an amazing experience and I'd highly recommend, if you're in the area, pay the Cheeva Spa a visit.

Wonderful Spa
May 2016 • Couples
We used the spa twice on our stay at the resort, we both had fantastic massages, really relaxing place and friendly staff. If you're nearby do give it a go. T
here are much cheaper options in Karon but you get what you pay for and this place is very tasteful, and calming and the staff are not pushy like the other places seem to be.
