Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This "park" is nothing but an area with a checkpoint on either side. The area is the same as the area outside the checkpoints.
They have big signs at each side with 2 prices. One for Thais. and a higher one for westerners. A ripoff.
To make matters worse you can sit at the coffee shop opposite the checkpoint and watch as they wave through all the Thais free of charge all day long. While making sure to milk every baht they can from tourists.
There are ways inside avoiding the checkpoints but theres nothing in there anyway.

I really don't like to be negative, but feel I need to be honest about my experience here. The first thing is that it appears that only non Thais have to pay to get into the park, unless you are staying at the Dewa, whose guests appear to be exempt. I would be interested to know what happens to this entrance fee money. If you walk through the trees to the lovely looking beach, there are numerous wild dogs curled up asleep in the sand or just roaming around. Be careful not to trip over one asleep. As you come out of the trees onto the beach, there is rubbish virtually all along where the beach meets the trees. There was not only lots of plastic but also items I was surprised to see on a beach, and do wonder how it got there as the sea is quite far away to wash it ashore. Maybe the authorities need to use some of the entrance fee money to employ someone to collect up all the rubbish.

Complete dirt on the coastline near Sirinath Park! People come, eat and leave everything on the beach. Phuket authorities take note, the trees are beautiful!!! Comrades, don’t come to hotels on this coastline near the airport, you can’t swim in the sea! Fuel oil, dirt, algae

It may be a bit grand to call this a national park but it is still a very nice area. Between the road and the sea it offers lots of shade from the tropical sun and this can be invaluable if you are walking.

Every so often you will come across food vendors selling either salads, sweetcorn, coconuts or similar which provide refreshments along the way.

There are stray dogs around but they are generally wanting to keep out of your way and didn’t seem dangerous.

Stretches on for awhile and his lined by the Beach on one side and the incredible things that that and the sea offer.

Disgusting dirty place. No trash containers. There is no cleaning service. I was here in 2009 and now I'm back... but very disappointed. It's a shame that the park and beach are not properly maintained at the state level.
I had no desire to take photographs - I don't want to have bad memories.

Read reviews that warned of the trash washed ashore as the tide ebbs and flows. So wasn't as disappointed to actually see them mar the beautiful coastline. The interior of the park wasn't nothing much, so we spend most time walking the beach. In total, we spent about 3 hours on day 1 and 4 hours on day 2 end Aug 2018. Here are stuff which may be helpful to know to make this trip worthwhile.
- from the entrance of the park, hit straight across towards the beach. You can choose to go left (southward) or right (northward). Left-ward leads you a town-like set up as the beach is public and not part of the park. Walking along this side leads to a small river which you cannot cross. Access is by road. On the other side is the Marriott Hotel and its private beach. Heading right is the seemingly endless beach (sand is a bit courser heading north).
- Go left if you prefer to find a nice spot and sip beer or coconut water as you watch the waves.
- Both sides reward you with lots of sea shells, some so tiny and fascinating, hermit carbs and sand crabs too
- Go right and you will be rewarded with the occasional sight of the dead puffer/box fish washed ashore
- Go right at dusk when the tide is low. A coral 'graveyard' reveals itself and you could an hour walking on it and exploring the exposed organisms. We saw other coral fishes on its edge, and many sea cucumbers and crabs. WEAR SHOES as dead corals can be sharp. Great for kids.
- Fascinating dead, up-rooted trees occasionally dot the beach. They provide great backdrops fo photos. Natural.
- Go right if you are keen to feel the airplanes roaring off above your heads, as airport is nearby
- Go further right if you would like to explore some posh resorts
- Not suitable for swimming in most areas at this time of the year
- Hat, sleeves and sunblock to protect your skin
I can imagine an army may be needed to clear the debris everyday. Ignore the rubbish and the beach is beautiful. never got to see the end of beaches as we had to backtrack.
Head back to the beginning and a little further to town. Reward yourself with coconut water and yummy seafood for dinner on the well maintained beach front (cleaning done by restaurants).

National Park it is not!! More like "Engine Oil Alley". Thai Government should be embarrassed by this. It does not classify as a National Park. It is full of rubbish, rotten old boats, rivolting black sewers full of rubbish and oil spilling onto the beach. Extortion charging tourists 200 baht and not even for 24 hours!!! Highly recommend avoiding the place. There are other ways to get to the beach.

National Park Next to the airport with beautiful Beach and restaurant area wtih lovely restaurants by the Beach. They charge the usual "farang" national park fee of 200 TBH but only between 9 am and 4 pm. I don't mind contributing but it gets a little steep if you have to pay everyday to go the beach or passs through the park, so you can enter from the beach side if you don't wanna pay.

Popular with locals picnicking at the weekend. A very pleasant shady road running behind the beach, great for a shortish run. You will see lots of runners, joggers & people picnicking.

The Sirinat National Park was next door to our hotel we stayed at on Nai Yang. Lovely beaches and at night you can see turtles come into shore to lay their eggs which was magical. Definitely worth going too.
