Great riverside walk all the way up to Ripon if you wish, however parts of the trail are very overgrown and difficult to navigate if you are less than sure footed. ( Council take note, maintenance reqd). On the way back pop into the Crown...More

Great walk of several miles, fairly flat, half along the river bank up to a lock and then back through fields and bridle ways, short part on country road. Not great when really wet as parts by river can flood.

Walked along the tranquil riverbank on a grey overcast morning. Lots of wildlife to see, geese, swans herons and the odd deer. As it was Feb the path was abit boggy in places and care was needed.

A fine local walk with varied terrain, riverside and lovely views. There is a public house in the village, though I have to say I found the mannequins outside more interesting than the folk inside.
