Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Do not buy fruit from this market as there are amateur growers here who will sell you product that does not ripen.
We felt ripped off as we bought custard apples that were picked too early and they just went as hard as a rock and never ripened.
Not happy!

We were told that the Fernvale Markets were something special so we thought that we would check it out. It was a hot day and the grounds were dusty and dry. We found that most of the vendors sold junk although some vendors sold handmade quality products. We were surprised that some of the vendors were even wearing dirty clothes with stains on them which was disappointing. But certainly if you are after something different and are in the area it is a visit.

Great for fresh fruit & veg. Has the best bakery bread mainly sour dough based bread. And a croissant stall as well. Madscents a must visit if you love candles and melts. Some amazing wood work, Wrought iron and leather products.

There is a young baker who has studied overseas and his breads and cakes are made the European way - they are to die for. lots of hand made goods and produce from local farmers.

The markets are open every Sunday and are genuine country markets. The stalls range from trash and treasure, locally grown produce and locally produced items such as lavender creams and soaps, jewellery, clothing furniture. As such, the stalls vary from week to week and you never know quite what you will find. However, the constant is the locally grown fruit and vegetables. You can spend as long or as little time as you like and can include it on a drive through the area. A little gem!

Have visited theses markets numerous times and they are real fair dinkum markets with lots of old wears, chooks the works. Plan a day in Brisnbane Valley and make this first stop.

If you have not been to Fernvale Markets Sunday Morning. It is HUGE... It's hard to park but a walk in the morning sun is healthy. There is so much there. One guy drives with top patisserie food from Northern N.S.W. and it is top food. There are Plants, food, not junk clothes but so much to see. Heaps of people there. Two last week came from Kingaroy for the Market. Up at 5am to drive to a market??? You have to be keen and it would want to be good. I bought a Rustic Newly made outdoor stool for 3 and it looks great in the garden. Good value and very well made and very OZ. Coffee and Patisserie food early. Life was made for livin.

Found the market a little late in the morning, was pleasantly surprised walking up and the rows of stalls. From pet treats to artistic garden art.

Great country market, and so popular that it makes parking difficult! Apart from that it was a great morning looking at all the different wares and grabbing a few bargains. The fresh tomatoes were delicious.

If you decide to go for a Sunday drive to Wivenhoe or Somerset dams, a stop at Fernvale is a must. You can get a good cup of coffee and a bite to eat at various places in town. Then drive a further half Km to the School, which hosts the markets every Sunday. I like these markets and have been there a number of times as they consist of a bit of country and a bit of city.Try and you'll enjoy them.
