Great place. Fun for all ages, nice and flat for biking. You also have wake boarding, boating, bike hire and lots of hosted events. The cafe at the mill offers a nice selection of food too, unfortunately there's no WiFi there which is a bit of a let down as cellular data is poor at the park, at least on... More

Cycle path around the lake, although this can be busy with walkers on a fine day. Cycle trails nearby. Good bar/cafe alongside the lake where there is a ski/boarding area, interesting to watch. Good picnic areas.

Great for walking around the 2 lakes there, plenty of natural history by way of birds, geese and ducks to view and feed in front of Cafe car-park. Cafe has good food, a nice mug of tea and seed for birds to buy. Service is very good and theres plenty of seats and tables both inside and outside cafe, to... More

Worst Restaurant Ever the service was shocking as thought they really were forced to serve us. Food was awful thrown onto the plate with the attitude of take it or leave it. They have the monopoly here so seem to do what they want with a school Ma'am attitude. My wife from Asia was shocked at the food and service.

It's been a while since we went so a little surprised to be charged £5 to enter irrespective of what we were to do. It looking good however as it's matured and we used the 3 and 4 wheel bikes for an hour, great fun. The restaurant was another matter however. It was a cold day with a lot of... More

We visited here years ago but decided to take another look as its described the cycling as suitable for all bike types. Not really rough terrain generally and my road bike struggled. For what was there it seemed over priced, but somehow remains popular. Personally think there are better placed ti visit in the area

Free parking available in certain areas outside the park. Look on the os map as can be quite awkward to find. I prefer to drive in and pay to get in the park. Water sports animals cafe etc. The cycling routes are okay but cycling around the park can be rather frustrating at times. Walkers seem to not care for... More

What a delightful surprise. Chance to rent bikes, karts and water sports in the summer. Trails ranging from 3 miles. Perfect for all the family and dogs too all year. Really impressed. Parking is expensive but park at the golf club for £2.50 with a free coffee and walk the mile into the park!

Great for dog walk and dog swimming. Lots to do here. We go a lot cos we live locally- but we never get bored. We've rented bikes, joined in with dog agility. Had picnics, rented canoes and kayaks. Even for the inactive theres lots to watch! Enjoy!
