I've been coming here since i was a kid and now bringing my own children here, the place is very family friendly, bike rentals, canoeing and other water sports. My only ever issue is that the paths could be better maintained with drainage. Overall lovely place.

Visited today and hired bikes for one hour. Had a lovely ride around the lake which is all flat and easy to cycle around. The price for hire is reasonable and then we paid £5 on entry. We packed a picnic as I wasn't sure about the food onsite and there are plenty of places to sit down and have... More

£5 per car on entry. Plenty of space to walk around. Had a lovely walk around the lake on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Very busy but still lots of space for everyone. Had good time watching the water sports. Nice outdoor area with bar to sit and watch. Had ice cream from one of the vans on site, be warned,... More

Having had the pleasure of having to pay £5 to park we found one craft stall remaining with a number of empty units with little handwritten notes basically saying they've closed. Please update your website as it's misleading. There are plenty of lovely parks in... More

Stopped off here to split up a long north/south journey - just off M1. Need a decent day for all the outdoor activities. £5 parking, £2.50 for blue badge holders. Pay as you go e.g. £2 for smallish adventure playgroup near car park-think there are other options round the lake. Good range of bikes for all, including people with disabilities:-)... More
