This is a hidden gem which can easily transport you back in time..... the narrow streets between the houses are only accessible on foot. The old fisherman's cottages, are now mostly holiday lets, but you can feel that the past is ingrained in every stone....More
This is our favourite bay on the coast in North Yorkshire. There is a small pay & display car park towards the bottom of the hill although you can park at the top and walk down to the beach but it is steep.
A steep road leads down to the beach where there is a tiny car park. It seems to be a favourite with dog owners. It's a lovely long bay with a sandy beach and a cafe overlooking the bay serves fabulous ice creams. Toilet facilities...More
