This beach is a bit of a drive from Luganville Vanuatu but is worth the visit. The beach was great to swim & picture perfect, both approaching & at the beach itself. Would be great to spend a few hours on the grass for a picnic. There is also a cafe / restaurant but the service was slow so don't... More

What a treat this place is! Right on the beach after coming down a high sweeping road, down to the beach, past a coconut plantation. Comfortable seating under cover with sweeping views of the beach (free use of kayaks) Absolutely fantastic food & a quiet, peaceful place with great views An absolute delight, along the eastern coast road. A must... More

what a totally gorgeous little place! We stopped here for a drink and a bit of a rest after a big day looking around Santo and wished we could set up camp and stay there. Lovely service and great views!

We turned off into the plantation road as a last minute detour and when we crested the hill the view down to the bay is breath taking, the water colours, hills and the other surrounds is out of the world. The beach bar is quaint, it does suffer from a bit of wind when the SE trades are blowing

Beautiful area, with a restaurant/bar. Beach is lovely. Off the beaten track when we were there, but that was good.

Velit Bay boasts the most amazing drive down into the bay itself. Starting from right up above the bay you get incredible views, and winding down the long, dusty road (saying hi to a few cows along the way!) you enter into a forest of spectacularly tall palm trees, lush grass, and into a beautiful big bay. I went here... More

We called into Velit Bay on a recommendation, on our way to Lonnoc Beach, and stayed for lunch. The bay is stunningly beautiful, and lunch is western style and of quite high standard. There's no accommodation there as yet, but it's well well worth a stop of an hour or two, more if you want to snorkel, kayak etc.

The locals here are so lovely and all money raised from the bar goes towards the children in santo. The spot is so beautiful, no photos does it justice. The water is divine and even in winter, it was warm! Definitely bring reef shoes though
