Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dived the Coolidge with these guys. Great diving with extremely helpful guides. A big shoutout to Dave and Rex who really looked after me. Would definitely recommend diving the Coolidge and Pacific Dive really made it easy.

The day we arrived at the dive site, and there was no one asking of our dive cards or how experienced we are, they also didn’t ask for the liability paper we had to sign.

Dives itself were good, and Dick our instructor was checking on us every time.

But I think the lack of management came as Jack the boss was all the way in the USA.

FYI I also saw open water divers (who can only get to 18m) were allowed to go in up to 25-30meters depth. For me, that’s a red flag for the dive operation shops….

Hi Yuna, Thanks for the feedback although i do think there are a few misconceptions here. Divers with Open Water certifications can in fact go deeper than 18m. This is the depth they have been trained and certified too as part of their Open Water training, However the recreational limit is 40m. Which we abide by. Our in water safety is paramount and second to none and you have admitted this in your review. Our system of logging the dives and checking the liability release forms is not done in plain view. I have the form with me and everything has been logged by Dick 😊 Again i appreciate the feedback and will do some training and education with the staff and follow up with them. All the best and safe diving! Jack

This was our second time with Pacific Dive. We booked in 5 days of diving. The diving was simply incredible. Jack and the crew at Pacific Dive were amazing and did everything you could ask of them both in and out of the water.
Our Dive Master and guide, Rex is next level incredible! Amazing diver and guide.
Make sure you do a night dive!
To sum up, 5 stars. Pacific Dive run an awesome operation, the team works hard to accommodate you and what you want to do.
We are looking forward to our next trip with them.

I can’t praise these guys enough. I came to Luganville with 8 years since my last dive. Landed with hayfever blocked sinuses and was afraid I won’t be diving at all. Jack answered all my questions, postponed my dives without a blink, and I had time to get my nose to diving condition. Then Max, my guide/instructor took over. Max gave me an effective and encouraging refresher at Million Dollar Point and then a peek at President Coolidge. Second diving day saw 2 awesome dives into the depths of the Behemoth-of-a-ship, thanks to Max, I felt confident to go with a small group.
Unforgettable experience, high-five to Max and kudos to the rest of the team!
If you go to Vanuatu, go diving with these guys. 😎😎

Didn't actually get to dive with these guys but had some dives booked with them that had to be cancelled at the very last minute due to flight cancellations. They were very understanding and refunded us in full the next day even though it was such late notice. Already planning another trip to Santo and will certainly be booking through them again next time.

Had a great 5 days of diving, our guide Dave and the rest of the team were very experienced and had a friendly attitude to each guest. Also a huge thanks to Jack for going above and beyond with helping us as guest to have the best experience possible. Highly rated this trip and definitely recommend to divers with any qualification, if your travelling with family and friends there is still plenty to do and see on this beautiful island. The locals are very friendly and helpful, I will definitely be returning.

Wow what a dive experience.
Pacific dive is a dive company that doesn't just offer dive adventures it offers dive island immersion.
From the time you arrive Jack will greet you and make you feel comfortable and at ease at what lies ahead; which is the most breathtaking experienced dive on the SS Coolidge, Million Dollar Point and surrounding reefs.
His highly experienced staff (Dave, John, Max, Dick and others) will cater to all your need to make you feel safe, comfortable so you get the best bive experience.
Dave is a legend. There will be books made of this gentleman. His skill set in diving is vast and impressive.
It does not stop there. Jack has been a resident on the island for some time and knows the best place to go for lunch, best Kava Bars, best tours. Jack will go out of his way to make sure you get to see everything the island has to offer. If he has time he will take you to a Kava Bar, take you to blue holes for a swim, take you around the island. This is something you will not see at other dive trips. Above and beyond service. Thank you Jack & your team for the best holiday

We arranged a double dive on the SS President Coolidge on very short notice when our cruise ship docked for the day. They picked us up from the ship and dropped us back at the end of the day.
My partner and I dove with Jack as our Dive Master and guide. The diving was awesome, Jack looked after us and showed us around the bow section and later into the holds. Simply fantastic diving!
The whole team at Pacific Dive were great, friendly and very helpful. 5 stars totally recommend. We will be back for sure.
Thanks again Jack and team.
