4 days of diving the Coolidge is not nearly enough to see and explore all the amazing spots in and out of this wreck. Pacific dive is a reliable and safe dive base to explore the wreck. Equipment is in good shape and guides know the wreck very very well, so cruising inside all these corridors, rooms, cargo halls and tunnels is really fun. Especially the night dive is something else, the flashlight fish show should not be missed. Thanks for showing me around, Alfred, also for taking me to try Kava. :-)

Awesome! Diving the Coolidge is an incredible experience but comes with the risks of diving a wreck at depth. Dave and the other Dive Masters at Pacific Dive made it all so easy though.
They were flexible and accommodating of our requests, really experienced and shared that with us with cool things to check out as well as just making the whole experience as safe and trouble free as possible.
Pacific Dive had by far the best gear I've got from a dive shop anywhere - and I've dived over 100 dives across Aus, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Fiji - exactly what you want to see before you trust it to take you down to 40+ meters!
The coolidge itself is immense and there is so much to see, you could spend weeks down there.
One of my big surprises was just how much life there was to see and even the safety stops were fascinating.
The night dive in the cargo hold is just surreal and certainly one of the best experiences I have ever had and I'm thankful to say I have had a ton all over the world.Turning your torch off 25m down in the belly of a sunken ship seems mental, the things you see once you turn your torch off are worth it though.
If you can, do it early in your trip, we had planned 4 dives in a tight short trip and we still decided to squeeze in couple of extra dives.
We can't wait to go back!

I did two dives with Pat Pat, on Coolridge and Million dollar point. On the first dive I had big problems with equalizing the pressure in my one ear, and it took me around 5-10 minutes to be able to start the actual dive. Pat Pat was extremely professional, patient and helpful, and did his best to keep me calm and comfortable even when I was getting frustrated trying to fix my ear. It was a real pleasure diving with him, he was attentive and made me feel safe throughout the dives. Also the rest of the staff were very nice and friedly. I already booked a few more dives with these guys :)

In February I finally ticked off a major bucket list item - a scuba dive on the SS President Coolidge.
Prior to visiting Espiritu Santo I was in contact with Jack Power, who was able to help and advise how I could dive on the SSPC with my existing Open water certification.
On the day I made x2 dives, with the guidance of Rex and Jackson who had everything preplanned.
We planned the dive and dived the plan.
They had fall back options for every eventuality and there were no issues encountered.
These guys are super professional and I would trust them implicitly, if you are planning a trip to Espiritu make sure you dive with Pacific dive.

Team was very experienced and welcoming.
Gear was good, although the lack of dive computer was a little perturbing.
Diving was epic, million dollar pt and the Collidge are unlikely to disappoint any diver. Those 2 dives in one morning, what a day.

I was scheduled to dive with Pacific Dive for 4 days but after walking away from the first dive found another dive operator which was much better. Alot of their gear is in a pretty bad state and several people had issues. First my air gauge was broken and then when given a replaced reg setup the reg felt a bit funny to breath out of but I was assured it was normal. When getting into the water it was defintely broken so I told them I would not be diving with them again. The diving briefings were very brief and I was unclear who my guide was even when we were in the water. My advice is to avoid these guys as their safety standards are quite low.

Absolutely magic !
Booked 2 dives on the President Coolidge, which took place yesterday…… hands down the best 2 dives I’ve EVER done . The wreck is absolutely magic. From the minute we stepped ashore (we stopped in luganville from our 10 night cruise from Sydney), Rhys was there to pick us up as promised, and take us (in the back of his truck!) to the “dive shop” , which consisted of a couple of old shipping containers full of diving gear right in front of the dive site. We were suited up and briefed, and walked off the shore right there for the dive of our lives. The wreck is mostly still intact and there is so so so much to see (and touch!). Hire gear is great (only thing missing was a depth gauge, but i probably should’ve bought my own computer) ….. everything else was perfect ….. just so so so wish i had bought an underwater camera with me, because it was too good for words. Will definitely be back to dive it again …… this is a huuuge bucket list dive for my son and me and we weren’t disappointed…. See you back again soon ! Thanks again !

I can't recommend these guys enough. I thoroughly enjoyed my time diving the wreck and surrounds. They catered well to our groups needs - from a novice diver through to very experienced rebreather divers, they looked after us all. They had the equipment and staff to cater for mixed gas and CCR dives.
When the covid19 crisis cut short our trip and had us scrambling to get home, the crew at Pacific Dive went above and beyond to help us with information and practical help. We were so sorry to have left in a rush without having the time to say goodbye. Thanks so much everyone, in particular Rhys, for your help. See you again soon.

Had a great 5 days of diving, our guide Dave and the rest of the team were very experienced and had a friendly attitude to each guest. Also a huge thanks to Jack for going above and beyond with helping us as guest to have the best experience possible. Highly rated this trip and definitely recommend to divers with any qualification, if your travelling with family and friends there is still plenty to do and see on this beautiful island. The locals are very friendly and helpful, I will definitely be returning.

Just finished 11 dives over six days with Pacific Dive - and loved every one of them!
Did 9 on the President Coolidge and 2 on Million Dollar Point. Could’ve done it in less time as they offer 2 morning dives and an afternoon dive and even a night dive, but why rush it - most I did in a day was 3, only on one day, including 1 night dive on the Coolidge.
Very professional outfit and staff, all very experienced in the area - my dive masters / guides have been diving these sites for 25 years or longer!
Big shout out to Rex, Dave and Max.
(And the other two kiwi divers had Jimmy who was awesome too). Amazing knowledge of the area, super friendly and very professional and safety conscious - e.g. checking in regularly with their divers, clear comms, spare tank left at 10m in case needed for long deco stops after a deep dive (never was needed as they’re careful with bottom times), everyone on dive computers and everything else you’d expect from a good, world-class dive operation.
And Molly runs a tight ship back at the office sorting the bookings and payments and paperwork. So it didn’t matter that Jack was back in Oz for summer holidays, with Molly and Dave on deck and the boys all very well seasoned.
And for those who don’t know - everyone speaks good English in Vanuatu (and supposedly French too).
All the equipment seemed pretty new, and good brands / latest models and well-serviced. Any leaking O-rings or the like fixed on the spot in the workshop.
The wing-style BCD and double 2nd stage reg I rented were perfect every dive.
Their air tasted nice and clean - not surprisingly as their air compressor and filter etc. all looks very new and well maintained. And they have rescue board, first aid box and even an AED on site, and PLENTY of O2 on hand if anyone ever needed it as they offer mixed gas diving too. All very reassuring, but the safety track record of the area is excellent.
I’ve done a lot of wreck diving around the world including Truk Lagoon, The Solomons, The Philippines, the Red Sea, Guam, Borneo etc. - but the President Coolidge and Million Dollar Point have been high on my bucket list for years and Pacific Dive helped me tick them off in a fun and relaxed yet safe and professional way!
