It is such a bargain at $7.50 only $5 for senior admission. This fabulous private collection is an amazing tribute to the Mad Max 2 movie. So many bits & pieces to see and the photographic walls are astounding. I am very impressed with the low entry fee considering how much money these lovely welcoming people must have paid to... More

We found the Mad Max museum to hold loads of photos and memorabilia along with actual items that were used in the films and reproductions that represent those items used in the film. It was disappointing that photos were not allowed inside the museum but were outside where the outside area was. The staff were friendly and very informative. We... More

A museum run with true passion and love by its owner and founder, Adrian. A great piece of 'Max' history immortalised in this small outback town. A must see for all MM fans.

bit pricey $7.50 per adult for what you get - given it was very busy due to Easter and I'm sure if they weren't so busy the owners may have spent more time explaining things. Go if you are a Mad Max fan.

So none of us are MM fans and I hadn't seen the MM2 movie, so the displays in context were of limited interest to us. But I was really impressed by the passion of the owner for this one movie. He has gone to great effort to collect vehicles, including twisted burnt bits of bikes (?), recreate others, transform mannequins... More

Love the idea, love the owner, very lovingly created. Interesting despite never having seen any Mad Max movie. Very nicely done.

It's an oddity for sure, a Yorkshireman's hobby turned into an odd collection of Mad Max scrap. But it's a must see, we enjoyed it very much, lots of cool props, costumes and cars. We'll worth the drive out.

This attraction was ok but probably more interesting if you had actually watched the movie, which I haven't. It filled in some time.

Enjoyed a half hour looking at the pictures and exhibits. Is a must see if you go to Silverton. Also got some god advice from the owner on locations of movie shooting locations
