Very easy to get to from the city. You do not really need a guide for this tour and you could see most of the exhibits without rushing in under three hours. We went on a beautiful sunny day and that made all the difference....More

A must see...another beautiful cathedral. Another busy location but this one you could view without a tour group if needed.

Basically a place to soak up history as is mainly royal burial site. We walked over one bridge and back on the other. Not much else to see as barracks.

This is where the fabulous city of St Petersburg began. Amazing to see the gold altar and the tomb of Peter the Great. Who would have thought you could be this close to such a historic location. Well worth visiting.

the cathedral is under renovation, but only the outside. I've been inside in july 2015 as well as in january 2016. last summer the domes were not covered with scaffolding yet. anyway, the cathedral is still working and... More
