We stayed at La Junta (close by campground) so the waterfalls were a short 5min walk (if that). You need to cross a river, which was fresh in March, but the view was worth it! Clear blue water. A must see!

Have fun all day and chill. Careful at the slides...specially in the middle....many had severe injuries and a few died.

These "natural waterslides" are just a short hike from any of the campsites around La Junta, and incredibly fun! The water is icy cold, but if you visit in the summer it is quite refreshing. Just be careful on the slippery granite!

you can park at the last house before the trek starts ( they charge by the day), then it's approx 4 hours or more to La Junta, and then you're very close to the tobogans.
