Observing nature and birds just 20-30 minutes out of Tengchong. Worth a visit, especially when we have been there it was not busy.

This place looks like it's constructed because it's quite small and the layout is really "convenient" tourism-wise.

It was 20 minutes from the town centre and on the way to the volcano scenic spot. The ticket price is definitely overpricing, 150RMB if you buy it online, which includes the entrance fee and the fee to do rowing. The area where you can...More

Currently undergoing a huge upgrade with building of a new entrance and Visitors Centre. This large marshland that supports migratory fowl can be disappointing if trying to visit during the 'dry' season as there's little water and few birds.

This is kinda disappointing and it feels like this was just made because other cities in Yunnan have the same thing. The area is small and -honestly- quite boring with no real lake-like place in the centre. Go to the one near Shangrila instead.
