Tillverkare av den världskända Dalahästen. Dagens dalahästtillverkning genomsyras av noggrannhet och är en process i flera steg. Eldrivna maskiner har ersatt vevande för hand men det är också det enda som förändrats. Fortfarande täljs nämligen hästarna av flinka fingrar och får sin karaktäristiska krusmålning av skickliga händer. Traditionen och kärleken till hantverket är densamma nu som 1928 när vi startade. Det är vår stolthet och drivkraft även i framtiden.

It's just about a small, very basic and manual workshop, which allow them to sell each small horse for a fortune. The souvenir shop actually offers a large variety of items, not only horses.

Fun to see the making of the horses and browse the big gift shop. Went a bit shopping crazy. Dalahorses are always a bit pricy but still better priced then elsewhere Recommend a stop here

This is such a unique experience to visit Nils Olsson and see the dala horses being made right in front of you. I’m glad I made a second trip back to Sweden, to see this (and of course some other “must see” places in Sweden)....More

We went as this is the official and original place for the Dala Horse. Believing in the GPS got us there and when we saw the Tour Busses, knew we were in the right place. There were several gift shops with lovely Swedish made items....More

Interesting place to see the carving, painting and all the wood involved with the Dala Häst creations. Fun to see 2 women painting each horse. ALL are hand painted. They have 10 ppl paining by hand at home as well. it was a fun thing...More

Brilliant trip to the Dala Horse Factory! You can watch the traditional Swedish horses being made and hand painted. Lots of gorgeous things to buy and even a cafe for visitors. Definitely worth a trip!
