Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sussamyr is a lovely place. You can do some short trekking in the sourndded mountains or relax by the river side watching the top of the mountains covered by the snow. You can stays at Baytur resort or rent one of many Yurt's beside the river for a night. Next day you can walk/drive beside the river and get some nice photos or you can go for horse riding. A couple of nights or 3 max is enough here.

We booked 10 days tour with PEGAS ADVENTURE. Started from Bishkek to Suusamyr via Too Ashuu pass. Too Ashu is very beautiful pass. Crossing with tunnel around 3400m alt . Next day we did 2 days horse trek. In the morning drived to 1 hour. Horse riding is more difficult for beginners. But our gude helped. Next day to Kyzart by car Song Kol lake - Kochkor - Issyk Kul lake. This place are amazing. Must to see. We did incredible experience in Kyrgyzstan with Pegas Adventure. Highly recomended

Its vast 😊.
You get there via a 3500m Pass, and the Best Option is your own Transport or better own car.
You can sleep in the Village of suusamyr.
Next day You follow the river down south. ...and will be surprised!
Its great in colours and landscape.
Plan the whole day for the Action which give you optional sleeping on the way to Song köl etc

Place is great for one or two days get away. Lodging is mostly in yurts or cottages. Valley is very vast and green in summer. Meadows are full of flowers and greenery. Kokomeren river flows in the middle of valley. Many Shepards bring sheep, cows and horses for summer. In winter Ski resort is open. It’s very nice and scenic place

Suusamyr Valley is a vast alpine Valley in Kyrgyzstan!
I have been trekking in Suusamyr Valley and skiing! It's really an amazing place for nature and mountains! I would make sure to plan ahead there is only one or two guesthouses in the village but the whole valley is amazing!

Hi there!
I know Suusamyr is a bit far from bishkek, but is it possible to be made as a day trip from bishkek with a tour or public direct bus?

Bonjour,
Que penses-tu de Sussamyr Valley pendant l'été (mi-septembre) ? Je souhaite rester quelques jours dans une vallée et partager la vide de nomades et éviter les touristes..
Merci !
Joris
