It’s a waste of time. A bunch of rock huts and narrow streets with pissed off locals standing around in the sweltering heat. Batanes is a waste of time in general. Nothing for kids to do. Nothing for adults to do. It’s boring and lame.

Visiting the stone houses of Batanes in Sabtang was one of the highlights of my visit. These homes are made of stone (coral rocks and limestone), and roofs made of cogon grass and are very strong to withstand the harsh wetahre conditions in the area....More
