Very lucky to discover St Mathieu and it’s light house with a fantastic panorama over the sea and Countryside. Nice to see by all weathers as the landscape looks different at every hour

The lighthouse and abbey are beautiful. I’ve never visited a place like this and was speechless. Take your time and explore the trails around the abbey and visit the museum too. The guide of the museum is very welcoming and helpful.

We visited the abbey ruins and than took a walk along the spectacular sea cliffs. This was well worth the time it took to drive out here. We also stopped at a lovely Biscuiterie-Gift Shop.

Fantastic location. It had been about 20 years since I had last visited Saint Mathieu and I'm reasonably sure that you couldn't climb the lighthouse back then. Now you can and now you should! Great view and good exercise! ;-)

Lighthouse, museum, medieval church and ruined abbey add to the magic of this special place. Stunning sea views.
