A wonderful white stone harbour that is quite outstanding. The views to the Copeland Islands, the Mull of Galloway and up to the Western Isles is exceptional. A walk around the lighthouse is quite obligatory!!

A walk along the Harbour wall, one side the waves gently beating on the rocks, the other side was calm with little boats moored and fishermen fishing. The light house is a working light house. You could see Scotland in the distance.

The Harbor area is pretty relaxed. You can usually get parked easily even though it is gennerally busy.. There is a nice walk all along the front, particularly in good weather. The views out to sea are great. Overall a peaceful place.

Good to stop by for some photos of this little harbour with a lighthouse and many seagulls. Should be on the way without much detour.
