Great location and day out, take it easy or activities there for people. Spoilt by snack place trying to blatantly rip me off with dodgy adding up. He was trying to rip tourist off avoid!

Nice area -walked around lac took about 30 minutes and then had a pic nic - there are lots of things for children and families at one end - I stuck to the other end. Fresh for swimming too

Smaller than expected and popular with dog-walkers and young families, the lake itself is neither peaceful nor particularly beautiful. The walk to the lake from the main car park at Plaine Joux takes about 20-30 minutes, but you can drive to the restaurant car park...More

Fabulous lake,well kept, ideal for everyone. Numerous water activities, paddle,and others. Grass areas with plenty of shade. Great views to Mont Blanc. 2 e parking. Great day out

This is an excellent day out. The lake is clean and litter free and there are many things to do if you wish. We had a relaxing day of swimming and sunbathing. Parking is cheap 2 euros all day and there are cafes, an inflatable...More

A lake near the Mont Blanc, lot of people during july and august, water is hot and swimming and watching at the snow at the same time...

Oui, il y a eu confusion entre le Lac vert de Passy Plaine Joux et le lac de Passy. Yes, there is a mistake between the green lake at Passy Plaine Joux et Passy lake at Passy , at the bottom of the valley.
