Don't be fooled, this would be called a chapel at best. Still a lot of history is contained within a few square metres. Unmistakably Byzantine. Probably best in combination with the castle built above.

not a lot of words about one of the best preserved byzanthine church in the world. Cattolica of Stilo ia an incredible surprise for us. not so spacious inside but wonderful affrescos made us marvelling !!!

This byzantine church is sooo amazing. It is very small inside but very beautiful. Well worth a visit. Stilo itself is a stunning town with the most amazing views. We spent the whole day exploring. A beautiful part of the world.
